Winter Sailing with Livery Passes

 

AGES: 18+

DATE: Saturdays for the months of November, January and February.

Time: 2:00 - 4:30 PM

PRICE: Free. You have the pass. This event is for season passes holders only. All types of CWB season passes are excepted.

LOCATION: Meet at the CWB Oar House

Winter Sailing will allow you to use your season pass during the winter months when CWB is officially closed to the public. You can bring friends, try different boats, test your foul weather gear and enjoy Seattle winter sailing.

How this will work:

  • We will make boats available after the normal morning classes.

  • Please sign up through the links below so we know you are coming. If nobody shows up by 3:00PM (last boat out time) we would like to close livery to thaw out our staff.

  • All you need to go sailing is to show the attendant your livery pass on your phone.

  • All Livery rules apply. Last boat out will be at 3:00PM to ensure that you get at least an hour on the water and time to rig and de-rig the boats.

  • Due to limited staffing we will not be renting rowboats in this program.

Cancellation Policy: 

  • Cancellation more than 10 days in advance: refund less a 10% administrative fee. 

  • Cancellation 3 or fewer days in advance of the event: No refund.

Cancellation requests must be submitted via email to: adultsailing@cwb.org.

Please Note: CWB reserves the right to cancel any course due to emergency or lack of enrollment. In such case, we will refund tuition in full. If traveling from out of area, we strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance in the event we must cancel this class.
