Pacific Rim Institute of Marine Artists
Jubilee Art Exhibition
A Nautical Celebration
Exhibit Description
The Pacific Rim Institute of Marine Artists (PRIMA) was founded by Austin Dwyer and Bob Bryant in 2016 to explore the possibility of forming a group of maritime artists living on or near the Pacific Rim.
Over the last ten years the group has grown considerably with live and online shows throughout the West Coast.
This will be the third exhibition at The Center For Wooden Boats and as Buck Braden, President of PRIMA said, “It is a great honor for PRIMA to be selected to exhibit a marine art show during the CWB’s 50th Anniversary.”
The show, which is not juried and with no prizes, is to encourage PRIMA members to exhibit their best marine work as they see fit. 17 artists from throughout the West Coast and Hawaii are participating with a total of 38 pieces, most of which are for sale.
