Winter: January 3 - March 13 | Museum: Wednesday - Sunday 10:00am-4:00pm | Boat Rentals Resume March 14, 2026.

Boating Season: March 14 - October 11 | Wednesday - Sunday 11:30am-7:00pm | Last Boat Out @ 5:30pm.

Autumn: October 12 - March 19, 2027 | Museum: Wednesday - Sunday 10:00am-4:00pm | Boat Rentals Resume March 20, 2027.

No Boat Rentals or Museum Access During Closures:

Independence Day Closure: July 4

Wooden Boat Festival Closure: September 4 - 6

Thanksgiving Closure: November 26

Winter Holiday Closure: December 14, 2026 - January 2, 2027

About

The Center for Wooden Boats at SLU is located inside Lake Union Park and consists of the Wagner Education Center, as well as a set of floating structures–The Boathouse and The Boatshop.

Admission to The Center for Wooden Boats is always free! You’re welcome to join us in the Wagner Education Center and on the docks to admire the boats during regular business hours.
