Winter: January 3 - March 13 | Museum: Wednesday through Sunday 10:00 am - 4:00 pm | Boat Rentals Resume March 14, 2026.

Spring: March 14 - April 15 | Wednesday through Sunday 11:30 am - 7:00 pm

Summer: April 16 - September 9 | Wednesday through Sunday 12:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Autumn: September 10 - October 31 | Wednesday through Sunday 11:30 am - 7:00 pm

Winter: November 1 - March 19, 2027 | Museum: Wednesday through Sunday 10:00 am - 4:00 pm | Boat Rentals Resume March 20, 2027.

Last Boat Out 90 minutes before Closing.

Special Holiday Hours:

Memorial Day: Open 12:30pm-8:00pm

Labor Day: Open 12:30pm-8:00pm

The Center for Wooden Boats will be closed on the Wednesday following Special Holiday Open Hours: May 27, 2026 & September 9, 2026

No Boat Rentals or Museum Access During Closures:

Independence Day Closure: July 4

Wooden Boat Festival Closure: September 4 - 6

Thanksgiving Closure: November 26

The Center for Wooden Boats at SLU is located inside Lake Union Park and consists of the Wagner Education Center, as well as a set of floating structures–The Boathouse and The Boatshop.

Admission to The Center for Wooden Boats is always free! You’re welcome to join us in the Wagner Education Center and on the docks to admire the boats during regular business hours.
