CWB Youth Race Team’s focus is on improving individual and team sailing skills.

Capacity: 12

Recommended Ages: 10-15 years old

Boats:  Feva and Optis

Tuition: Non-Members $650

                Members $550

We welcome students from all financial backgrounds. If your program is in need of financial support to participate in our field trip programming visit our Young Mariners Initiative page or reach out to us at youth@cwb.org.

CWB Youth Race Team

Our goal: Have a youth race team on South Lake Union that is accessible to all.

Skill Development: CWB Race Team’s focus is on improving individual and team sailing skills. This includes mastering boat handling, sail trim, and race tactics.

Team Cohesion: Build a strong, cohesive team with good communication and teamwork. This will be achieved through regular practice sessions and team-building activities.

Local Competitions: The CWB Race Team is aiming to perform well in local regattas. This helps build experience and confidence.

Dates:

  • Guardian & Racer meeting: In the week of April 19

  • Practices starting on April 28 and will go until June 18

    • Tuesday 4:30pm - 7pm

    • Thursday 4:30pm - 7pm
