Details:

Cruise in classic elegance in one of our historical vessels. During this 90-minute cruise your USCG Licensed Captain will provide you with a tour of historic Lake Union featuring a gorgeous view of the Seattle skyline, Gasworks Park, Lake Union Drydock Company, and the iconic floating homes.

You’re in charge and are encouraged to ask for any special routing or sights to be seen with your captain. Please feel free to bring your own food or beverages of choice! Alcoholic beverages are welcome on the boat, not the docks and well-behaved dogs are encouraged to join.

DORA

Join us on one of our most beloved vessels, electric powered fantail launch Dora. This 26’ vessel features a raised canopy to provide protection from the elements and a 360 degree unobstructed view. Dora’s spacious layout can comfortably accommodate six passengers for a lovely afternoon or evening picnic on the lake.

ABOUT THE BOAT

Dora is a replica designed after the electric fantail launches built for the 1893 World’s Columbian Exposition in Chicago. A collaborative community project, she was built by the students at the Wood Technology Center at Seattle Central Community College. Wood and other materials were donated by various CWB community members. She was designed by Oregon Naval Architect Pat Spurlock.

MS WOLF

Join us on our historic fishing vessel the MS Wolf. This 28’ work boat features a spacious forward layout and can comfortably accommodate six passengers for a lovely afternoon or evening cruise the lake.

ABOUT THE BOAT

The MS Wolf was built in 1932 by the Blix Brothers on Puget Island, Washington. She is one of the last surviving Columbia River Bowpickers which were salmon gillnetting vessels.  The vessel is 28’ long with a 3.5’ draft and 8’ beam. She’s built of Alaskan Yellow Cedar over bent Oak frames with Mahogany transom and stem. She sports a Perkins 4 cylinder 108, 80 horsepower diesel engine with a hull speed of 8 knots.

  • How do I book a charter cruise?

We ask that on-line bookings for your charter cruise be made at least 24 hours in advance to allow time to schedule your Captain.   • Are life jackets required?

    • No. Type 1 Personal Flotation Devices (PFDs) are easily accessible on board.

  • Is food and drink allowed on the boat?

    • Yes! Please feel free to bring whatever food and beverages you desire. Alcoholic beverages permitted on the boat, not on the docks. Please pack-in and pack-out.

  • Is there a restroom on board?

    • No. We do, however, have access to restrooms at our education center when you check in. Please plan time for this in advance or ask your Captain for access prior to departure.

  • Can I bring my dog?

    • Yes! Well-behaved furry friends are welcome. Dog life jackets are available but not required. Please keep leashed when on our docks.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Bookings may be self-managed via our booking platform more than 48 hours in advance at no charge. Cancellations or no shows within 48 hours of scheduled charter time will be charged 100% of the full non-member rate. Our captains and vessels are standing by for your selected charter and last minute changes are difficult to backfill and reduce opportunities for others to enjoy the experience. We ask that on-line bookings for your charter cruise be made at least 24 hours in advance to allow time to schedule your Captain.
