School Year Break Programs :

Tuition: $575 Members; $650 Non Members
In this class, the students will learn how to properly handle hand tools and when to use them. They will be able to put together small projects such as a stool. Students will also learn about the science of sailing and get to go out on the water. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY.

In this class, the students will learn how to properly handle hand tools and when to use them. Students will also learn about the science of buoyancy and sailing theory through building toy boats and science modules. Students will get the opportunity to go out sailing on the youth fleet of Lake Union Swifts & El Toros. Students will develop tacking, jibing, sail trim, weight balance and capsize recovery skills while learning terminology and theory. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY.

Green Fleet Youth Race Team
This introductory race team will participate in Green Fleet races. The Opti Green Fleet is a fleet created for novice and beginner racers. This program is meant to encourage sailors for future sailing. Learn more about racing in the NW.

Recommended Ages: 9-12 years old & under 110lbs (students 8, 13, & 14 year olds may participate at Youth Programs Manager's discretion)
Tuition: $575 Members; $650 Non-Members
Includes: 10 practices, tiny boat regatta at CWB, participation & coaching for 5 milfoil dodger regattas, 4 time punch cards to participate in pelican palooza at CWB, & more!

This program is free to all participants. This is geared towards families with students ages 8-12 years old facing financial barriers or from traditionally underrepresented groups.

Tuition: $575 Members; $650 Non Members
Students will develop tacking, jibing, sail trim, weight balance and capsize recovery skills while learning terminology and theory. Youth sail in teams of two to enhance their communication, observation, patience, and teamwork while practicing new skills. No experience necessary
Registration will begin in August.

This program is free to all participants. This is geared towards families with high school students facing financial barriers or from traditionally underrepresented groups.
In this course students will have the opportunity to learn STEM, woodworking, knots, and get onto the water in many ways. Students will get to explore sailboats, rowboats, the pedal boat, and kayaks. Students will also get to meet many people in the maritime industry and talk about what careers might interest them.
