Libbie spent the majority of her childhood in Austin, Texas dreaming of the beach. After seeing the ocean for the first time at age 14 she always knew she wanted to be by the sea.
In 2016 Libbie moved to Galveston, TX to attend Texas A&M University’s maritime branch. Here she earned a degree in Maritime Studies with a focus in marine archeology and a minor in museum studies. In Galveston she found a deep appreciation for history, tall ships, and Victorian architecture. After graduating in 2020, she moved to Seattle to continue her education at the University of Washington and graduated in June 2022 with a Master of Art in Museology (museum studies).
Libbie loves to travel anywhere and everywhere. She enjoys being on the water, camping, baking, collecting maritime literature, and attending the theater.
