ADVENTURE AWAITS…Cama Beach State Park

The Center for Wooden Boats at Cama Beach State Park is set in a spectacular, 433-acre waterfront location against a forested backdrop. It is connected by a mile-long trail to Camano Island State Park, a 134-acre camping park. Both parks are open for day use or overnight stays year round. Admission to The Center for Wooden Boats is always free! Some programs, such as boat rentals, have associated fees, and others have suggested donations. Walking the beach, exploring the boats and browsing the exhibits is always free of charge.

Join us every Saturday for Toy Boat Building. We provide the materials, you provide the creativity! 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM year-round. Suggested $5 donation!

Getting to CWB Cama Beach

MAP & DIRECTIONS

The Center for Wooden Boats at Cama Beach is located at Cama Beach State Park on Camano Island, just 12 miles South West of Stanwood, or 60 miles North of Seattle. Accessible by bridge, Cama Beach State Park is easy to get to by car or by bus. See a map of the park

BY TRAIN

An Amtrak train connects from downtown Seattle to Stanwood, and then Island Transit, with its main stop at Terry’s Corner, makes a regular stop at Cama Beach State Park.

BY BUS

Island Transit, with its main stop at Terry’s Corner next to the Camano Getaway visitor’s center, as you come onto the Island, makes a regular stop at Cama Beach State Park.

BY CAR

Parking is provided by Cama Beach State Park. A Discover Pass is required. You can purchase a Discover Pass in person, at the Welcome Center, or online. The State Park also operates a shuttle that will transport you from the upper parking area down to your beach front cabin.
