Visit CWB in South Lake Union
Come to The Center for Wooden Boats at South Lake Union to explore boats on and off the water, learn new skills or simply relax on the lake. Admission is free!
Whether you are a tourist visiting Seattle for the weekend, or a full time resident, we have something for everyone. Our Free Public Boat Rides on Sundays are open to all, and experienced sailors can rent boats to go for a spin on Lake Union on their own.
We are a “Living Museum” – our exhibits are the historic wooden boats that you can take rowing or sailing. Come experience history first-hand!
