Library

PLEASE NOTE: Our Library is currently in storage due to the fact that workstations have replaced the books on the second floor of our Boathouse. This is a temporary closure until our Education Center is constructed in Lake Union Park. The books will be unpacked in our storage space at Chandler's Cove in 2011. Please stay tuned for a more up-to-date schedule.

Explore boats on shore by visiting our library which houses a collection of literature including books on navigation, sailing, boat designs, boat building, maritime history, biography, wooden craft and fiction. We also have a children's maritime library. From toy boats to tug boats, if you find it in the water, you can learn more here. The library contains close to 1400 titles and members can check out books for free.  We also have a collection of boat plans available for purchase.

The library is located in the second floor of the boathouse and anyone is welcome to browse our collection and enjoy the glorious view of Lake Union during open hours.
