About the event: An end-of-season gathering for people who love traditional small craft. Small boats on display both on land and in the water. Skills demonstrations and talks led by professionals, music, and fun!

Download the application (Word .doc) and return by mail, email, or in person. Email cama@cwb.org with any questions. Professionals and amateurs alike are encouraged to attend!
Accomodations Available
CWB has reserved a number of cabins and campsites for participants in its Small Boat Saturday gathering. Preference for accommodations will be given to folks exhibiting their boats. The cabins are available at the standard Cama Beach State Park rate (listed below). In addition CWB has reserved the group campsite at Camano Island State Park, just a stone’s throw away. This site can accommodate many campers as well as up to 5 RV’s. Price for campsites will vary depending on the number of campers.

Camano Island State Park Group Camp(one mile away; close to boatramp; up to 100 people; 5 RV sites; Showers and Bathrooms) Friday 15th $76.40 total of up to 20 people; 2nd night 51.40 $2.57 for each additional person over 20.

Cama Facility Rentals
The Center for Wooden Boats' facilities at Cama Beach are available for rent! Cama Beach State Park is an incredible waterfront venue for parties, weddings, family reunions and buisiness meetings. Rent the Boat House and Fire Truck Garage, as well as cabins for all of your guests!

This year's Fishing Derby at CWB at Cama Beach State Park will take place on June 11th. All ages can enjoy free fishing, and children 15 and under are invited to participate in a fishing derby and the handline challenge! Participation is free, but equipment is not provided - although limited gear will be available for purchase.

CWB at Cama Beach offers kayak rentals, outboard-powered craft, sailboats and rowboats. Experience Puget Sound and Cama Beach by boat!

Post Labor-Day Livery Hours:
Saturday and Sunday: 10am - 6pm
Thursday Livery Hours will be available sporadically during the fall and winter months. Please contact Cama Beach at 360-387-9361 for more information.

• Row and kayak rentals must remain near-shore and within sight of CWB Boathouse

• Livery open 10am to Dusk Thurs. - Sat. in summer, and are reduced during the winter
• Kayak renters must demonstrate wet-exit and self-rescue familiarity

Youth Programs at Cama Beach
Family Programs
Activity Chests
Check out an activity chest for your family to use in Cama Beach State Park. Interactive games provide opportunities for youth to explore the worlds of sailors and ship-board naturalists. All while having fun! Available for check out in the Boatman's House.
Toy Boat Building
Young in years or young at heart, come and enjoy creative toy boat building, one of CWB’s most popular activities for kids and parents alike. We provide masts, hulls, sails, and traditional hand tools. You just bring the vision! Contact us at cama@cwb.org to learn more.
School Programs
We provide hands-on educational opportunities for a variety of age groups and curricular needs. Our programs use our maritime environment and classic wood boats to engage students in the Pacific Northwest’s unique culture, history and the natural world. Many of the programs we offer at South Lake Union can be scheduled at Cama Beach. Contact us to find out more about our programs or to plan a program.
Field Trips
Our field trips allow educators to bring groups to The Center for Wooden Boats for adventure on the water paired with hands-on learning. Field trips at CWB at Cama can include beach walks, learning about the history of boat building and more! Contact us to plan a trip.
Out-of-School Programs
Job Skills Training Program
The Center for Wooden Boats is excited to announce the pilot
year of our Job Skills Training Program, thanks to funding from the Russell
Grinnell Family Foundation. This October, CWB at Cama Beach will welcome 4
young adults from low-income or underserved backgrounds as Job Skills Trainees.
They will gain hands-on woodworking experience helping with the maintenance of
our fleet of historic of wooden boats, learn on-the water boat handling skills,
and finally get a chance to apply their boat building skills by assisting in
the construction of a traditional wooden boat.
