Position Title:  One-on-One Instructor and Get Zapped! Sail Instructor

Program Overview:
The mission of the adult learn to sail programs at The Center for Wooden Boats is to introduce the public to and educate them about seamanship, small craft heritage and the craft of sail.

One-on-One
For beginner sailors with sporadic schedules or those who would like to refresh their boat handling skills, we offer One-on-One sailing lessons. Work individually with the student to help identify skills to focus on and improve sailing skills.  Lessons are available by appointment in many of the classic vessels maintained by CWB. Livery Checkouts are complimentary as part of each lesson. This can be a great introductory sail experience for out of town visitors.

Get Zapped!
An intensive three-day sailing course for two people.  This condensed and personalized version of CWB’s SailNOW! program is coordinated to fit the students’ schedule in a combination of three four-hour lessons. These fast paced lessons are sailed in Blanchard Jr. Knockabouts and Lightnings.
