From time to time, we single out particular projects that we feel merit special support. Donors to these projects will receive special recognition and our eternal gratitude!
STEAMBOAT PUFFIN
CWB's steamboat Puffin will celebrate her 100th birthday in 2006. Your contribution will help our boatwrights purchase materials and do the caring restoration that is already underway. Come down to CWB and you'll see her in the drydock. Each "Share" $100.
NEW FLOATS AT CWB
Through the generosity of Tacoma's city marina, Foss Waterway Development Authority, and Seattle Parks and Recreation, CWB now has new floats to install. The catch? We need money to buy the materials to finish the installation. When you're next visiting CWB, check out our first new float project, the "front porch" on the Boathouse! Each "Share" $10.
HERRESHOFF 12 1/2
This spring, we will be getting our two Herreshoff 12 1/2's back into service. The process starts with a class offered by boatwright Eric Dow of Maine, then continues as a working exhibit. Contributions will fund materials and our boatwrights. We're still finishing up our Blanchard Junion Knockabout restoration this Fall so stop by that current exhibit next time you're down. Each "Share" $100.
