Boat Rental at CWB
The Center for Wooden Boats rents out many of its historic and notable small craft, from Whitehall water taxis to a variety of day sailers and workboats. We encourage our visitors to do more than look. We want you to sail, row and enjoy our collection of traditional leisure craft and workboats of the past.
CWB rents both sail and rowboats for use on Lake Union, one of prettiest locations in Seattle. Sailboats are rented for a minimum of one hour; rowboats for thirty minutes or more.
Please note that the selection of livery boats is always changing, as our small craft are rotated into the Boat Shop for maintenance and repair. Also, we require first-time CWB sailors to go through a brief sailing “check-out” with one of our livery staff or sailing instructors. Click here for more information regarding the checkout.
