Cultural Exchange International
Seaton Gras traveled to Thailand several times during 2003, working with agencies of the Thai government and the U.S. Embassy in Bangkok to implement our initial Cultural Exchange program. During the summer of 2003, Mr. Gras brought one of Thailand's leading experts on their traditional boats to Seattle for talks and an exhibit of their boat models. Mr. Gras has prepared a monograph on the Thai Royal Barges and was present during the Royal Barge Procession that occured as a highlight of the Asian Pacific Economic Conference in Bankok in October, 2003.
