

A Classic Lake Union Show Opens with a Classic Lake Union Film!
Seattle Maritime Film Festival presents an outdoor screening of "Tugboat Annie", a 1933 film about the adventures of widowed skipper Annie Brennan. Annie was the fog-horn voiced captain of the Narcissus", a tug based in the Pacific NW. Annie keeps the tug running, in spite of her inept husband, who gets a chance at redemption in an exciting climax.
The film will be set against the backdrop of South Lake Union and the Arthur Foss, the tugboat featured in the film.
